Orchards of olive trees sit on small terraces backed by bone-white, dry stone walls. They are small gray olive trees, hardly taller than a man, two meters fifty at the most... The earth which bears them is very colourful, sometimes a light ochre, sometimes under the ardent sun white as snow.
